submissions for print

As a new independent publisher we are seeking out new voices representing the  best in literary fiction. We are open to both new and established authors working in any genre.

At present we are seeking submissions of novels and collections of short stories.  Although we are sure we will miss out on some poetic gems we are not currently looking for poetry collections. If you do have poetry that you wish to get to a wider audience please feel free to submit to our ezine.

We are only accepting electronic submissions so please email to submissions@epoquepress.com and in the subject header state 'General Submissions', the title of your work  and your name. The full manuscript of your work should be attached in either MS word or PDF format.  The reason we ask for the full manuscript is because if we like what we receive we will want to keep on reading.  We also ask that you provide a short synopsis that tells us a little bit about the submitted work. This can be a separate attachment or within the body of the email.  And that's it. We don't want to lay down too many rules as rest assured your submission will only be considered on its literary merit.

We pledge to read and respond to all submissions received and therefore we hope you understand it may take a little while to get back to you.  If you haven't heard anything from us after twelve weeks please feel free to contact us for an update.

next edition – Affinity

In these troubled times everything around us seems to be more polarised. Extreme opinions and viewpoints fuel distrust and division. People clamour to see who can shout the loudest whilst shutting themselves to any opinions other than their own. Perhaps now, more than ever, in this troubled epoch of ours, we need a healthy dose of affinity, an environment of empathy leading to a greater sense of accord and harmony, from both the individual personal perspective as well as the wider political one. As always, this theme is open to interpretation in any way you see fit.

Deadline for submissions: 31st March 2020
