Shortage
/ˈʃɔː.tɪdʒ/
Submissions will close end of September 2022...
Shortage is something that many people are currently facing across the world: a shortage of food, energy, water, of possessions, of a place to live, of compassion. Politics, the economy and war create a deficit and deficiency in the basics required to live and every day we are confronted with people trying to deal with the sparsity of goods and the meargreness of support afforded to them. However, shortage can also be presented in a positive manner, for example people may have no shortage of ambition, or no shortage of energy, being driven and motivated to succeed against all the odds. As always the theme is open to interpretation and we look forward to seeing how you will respond.
