Richard PJ Ray is a Glass Artist/ Designer who studied 3D Design in Glass & Ceramics at University. He specialises in bespoke kiln formed glass interior design products and sculptural forms and is influenced by the texture and form found in our everyday urban environment. Of his work, Richard says:

I'm particularly drawn to detail and pattern exhibited in municipal fixtures and items found beneath our feet, items which are walked over and go unnoticed; for example, manhole and drain covers, brickwork, paving and ironmongery. These, to me, are the unsung heroes of our industrial design heritage. My work is in part a homage to these overlooked design classics which I feel translate well in this delicate medium of glass.’
