A Dander Down Stricklands is a composition by Aoife McGinn. It starts as a slip jig and moves into a reel. The composition is a contemplation on moving between the natural border of forest and beach, inspired whilst walking from Stricklands to Brompton Beach. The composition conjures the difference in natural geographies and the feelings they invoke.
