Susan Wells is a poet and prose writer, as well as a former life scientist who has worked in scientific writing and communications. She is currently studying on the MA Writing program at Warwick University. Her work has been published by Kamena magazine.
Hephaesta was written in homage to a severely handicapped woman born with severe cerebral palsy who Sue who was privileged enough to work for many years ago.
